Childhood Cancer & St. Jude

As part of Tri Delta's focus on children's cancer charities, Tri Delta formed a national philanthropic partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 1999.This partnership is a direct reflection of Tri Delta's Purpose in action as we help children live, scientists learn, and St. Jude lead in its mission of finding cures for childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

In July 2014, Tri Delta made the largest single fundraising commitment by a St. Jude partner in the hospital's history–pledging $60 million in 10 years. Because of this commitment, Tri Delta has received prominent recognition on the St. Jude campus with the naming of the short-term housing facility, Tri Delta Place.

Raising Awareness, Money & Cures

In the 2017- 2018 year, the Epsilon Delta Chapter of Tri Delta raised over $70,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This is done through various annual events: D Hop, our all you can eat pancake breakfast, Sincerely Yours, our letter writing campaign and Dunkin Deltas, a basketball tournament. Additionally, small bake sales, fundraising campaigns and awareness days are held throughout campus to increase St. Jude awareness.
