Tri Delta is an assembly of women with shared values where you can be yourself and belong to something bigger. We are brave, bold and kind. We are passionate about serving others, committed to becoming the best version of ourselves and dedicated to helping women live, learn and lead – with Purpose – for a lifetime.
Delta Delta Delta was founded in 1888 by Sara Ida Shaw at Boston University. In 2004, the Epsilon Delta chapter of Tri Delta was founded on Elon University's campus. Since its founding in 2004, the Epsilon Delta chapter has initiated over 1,200 members and has been recognized for multiple awards for academic success, sisterhood morale, and philanthropic achievements. It is the mission of Tri Delta to Live Kind and Lead Kind, always.
Welcome to the Epsilon Delta chapter at Elon University! My name is Emily Frizzell and I am the Current Chapter President! Our chapter is made up of an amazing group of women who are involved in countless areas of life but share the ideals of Tri Delta in common. Above all else we value the principle of kindness. Tri Delta was founded with a commitment to “kindness alike to all”. We live out this kindness as we live kind and lead kind in our day to day lives through the many organizations and activities our sisters are involved in. While we all come together to support the life changing work at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, our members are also passionate about the environment, politics, academics, the arts, athletics, and so much more. It is this diversity and dedication that I believe makes our chapter so special.
Tri Delta has been an extremely influential part of my life since I joined in January 2016. Not only did I feel like I found my home away from home but I have always felt supported in all of my endeavors. Being a member of this sisterhood has instilled a confidence in me that I didn’t have before. The members of this chapter truly support one another to be the best versions of themselves. Being a member of Tri Delta means joining a supportive, loving, and fun sisterhood for life. I hope you enjoy learning more about our chapter and what it means to be a Tri Delta.
